D04: TransLution Picking Demo Training


Description
In this demo we cover sales order picking. There are as many picking processes as there are customers – well that is an exaggeration but only a slight one! It is however true that picking processes vary quite dramatically based on things like the average size of orders, the type and size of product being picked and the size of the warehouse. For example someone picking only nuts and bolts and washers will require a very different process to a site where they are selling kitchen appliances or furniture. Business where they pick hundreds of orders with one or two lines per order are very different to those where they pick a small number of very large orders. A key part of the discovery process is learning some of the specifics for a prospect as they relate to these kinds of examples. The demo that you will be learning to do is by its nature a simplified version of what any customer would do and the goal is really to illustrate some of the common picking requirements.
